That cockroach cant see because of it they hate red light cus theyre vision is not similar to us they have more contrast so when you flash them red light they just run away

Although it is true that red light repels roaches but since thy have been in that environment they have gotten used to the red light so they really have no where to go so in some cases it does and doesn’t but there’s probably a lot under the rocks hiding from the light
