This was a fundraiser to raise money to fight 3 of the worst diseases that can afflict a human being and for the man sitting down on the right (Bob) who obviously has one of these horrible conditions. My gratitude and appreciation of Bruce Springsteen just continues to grow. We are blessed by his being and its expression.

A great poet or songwriter is able to say the things that we all feel but are not able to express. Springsteen is one of those who can. People will be singing, covering , listening to his music a century from now. That is if the world is still here a century from now. Hope springs eternal. Thanks Boss.

I always thought of Bruce as a storytelling folk singer using rock as his form of expression. This version of this song shows his roots. Wonderful.
